Thinking about becoming a Beautycounter Consultant?

What is Beautycounter?

Beautycounter is a skincare and makeup company whose mission is to get safer beauty products in the hands of everyone. Their products are crafted with the highest levels of safety and quality. Beautycounter also advocates for more regulations of the beauty industry so that one day we can be sure that ALL of the beauty products on the market are safer choices.

What does it cost to sign up?

Beautycounter has two enrollment options. The first is a Digital Enrollment Kit that costs $50 to sign up. This kit includes your personal website for your clients to order through, training and education on all of the products, and digital marketing tools such as pictures and videos that you can share on your social media accounts. The regular Enrollment Kit costs $98 dollars. In this one, you get everything from the Digital Kit as well as two full sized products to test, a tote bag, a makeup bag, and printed materials that you can distribute to people in person.

Do you have to maintain an inventory of products?

No! After becoming a consultant, you have access to purchase some starter kits of products at a deep discount, but there is no pressure whatsoever to buy these! It’s completely up to you!

Do you have to sell a minimum amount per month?

Nope! The only sales goals that you have to meet is that you have to sell $750 worth of products in 6 months time, and this includes your personal purchases! I was a bit worried about hitting this and was able to to hit it easily by my second month. There are no penalties if you don’t meet the minimum — the only thing that happens is that you are changed from Consultant to Band of Beauty member, and you are able to re-join as a consultant at any time. It is a completely no-risk opportunity.

Do consultants get a discount on products?

Yes! Consultants get 25% off their personal orders. This is the NUMBER ONE reason I joined Beautycounter! I was in love with the products and the positive changes in my skin. This is the best discount that you will find with Beautycounter, so if you like the products and plan to buy more in the future, you should become a consultant even if it’s only for the discount!

What is your commission on sales?

The baseline commission on sales is 25%, but depending on your volume of sales, this can increase up to 35%. So, let’s say your friend purchases $100 worth of products from you. You’ll get $25 in your bank account the next month!

What if I’m not a “sales-y” person?

Don’t worry — With Beautycounter, it’s more about sharing your experience with the products and talking to people about the need for safer skincare. Most of my sales come from my network of friends, family, or social media friends who I have talked to about how much I love the products myself!

What if I don’t know much about skincare and makeup?

Again, don’t worry! Beautycounter has specific training guides on all of their products! You will access to a plethora of training, product guides and even assets for social media. You will be set up for success!

If you think this might be something that YOU would be interested in joining, but you want a little more information, please fill out this form, and I will be in touch!

If you’re ready to be a consultant, go ahead and sign up HERE. You can add Sharifa Knowles as your mentor. I look forward to working with you!
